The creators explain on the fan project’s Discord: “ Second Wind is a large-scale expansion for Breath of the Wild that aims to add new content to the game in a similar way to official DLCs. The mod is being made for the Wii U version only at the moment and can be experienced via emulation and console hacking, if you’re savvy with that scene.
Along those lines, via Kotaku, a group of fans is creating a full-blown expansion mod for Breath of the Wild called Second Wind, which is currently about 60% complete.
The sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has a firm release date of “idk lol,” and fans continue to be hungry for more content, even after the surprise release last year of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity and its coming expansion pass.
